Borneo Kalimantan Jungle Trek - 9 November 2013 This overseas charity challenge is really the adventure of a lifetime! You will hike along narrow paths through dense tropical rainforest, climb mountain ridges, wade across streams or brave bamboo pole bridges. | ![]() |
Tanzania Mount Kilimanjaro Trek - 16 August 2013, 27 September 2013, 25 October 2013 Our trek takes the less-trodden Machame route, allowing us to camp and fully appreciate the splendour of our surroundings and the clear night skies. We pass through thick forest, moorland and scree en-route to the highest point, Uhuru Peak. This is a challenging trek at altitude, climbing one of the most impressive and well-known mountains in the world. You will be rewarded at the end with an animal safari, taking in one of the spectacular national parks. | ![]() |
Costa Rica Coast to Coast Rainforest Trek - 16 November 2013 The coast to coast challenge is an adventurous journey on foot and by raft from the Pacific to the Caribbean Coast! The route takes you from traditional farming communities through coffee plantations and oak forests, deep into cloudforest and dense tropical rainforest, serenaded by howler monkeys and exotic bird calls. You will take in one of the country’s highest volcanoes before your challenge ends with an unforgettable journey by raft and boat to a beautiful tropical beach. Your challenge over, you will be rewarded with an amazing whale watching trip. See whales in their natural environment, exhibiting their natural behaviours. |

UK Coast to Coast Lakes and Dales Cycle - 13 June 2013, 19 August 2013 Your challenge is to cycle the breadth of the UK across some of the most spectacular and wild countryside that England has to offer. Leaving the West Coast you head inland, carving your way over the Cumbrian Mountains and southwards through the Lake District National Park. From Kendal you head east, crossing into Yorkshire, through the heart of the famous Dales and onto your destination: the East Coast and the historic town of Whitby.
