Bear Necessities is an exciting new resource for pupils aged 7-11 from WSPA, supporting key topics within the Literacy curriculum whilst examining the importance of animal welfare.

All of the materials required to deliver two exciting lessons and one high impact class assembly are available for free download below. Find pupil worksheets and delivery notes as well as an engaging video clip.

Also available for free download is a bear fact pack containing stimulating information to help children learn about the different types of bears, their habitats, diets and behaviour.

The resource also provides ideas for fun and interactive fundraising activities which can be undertaken at class or whole school level to help raise funds for WSPA to support our work in rescuing and rehabilitating bears.

Bears of the World Fact Pack

The pack contains fact sheets which provide information about the various different species as well as a booklet outlining the numerous threats to bears and the work which WSPA does to help address these threats.
