This year WSPA’s Christmas appeal aims to raise funds to support the vital work of the Palestine Wildlife Society (PWLS) to help donkeys and mules in the Bethlehem region.
To support the appeal and bring home the dire situation many of these animals face WSPA have put together a festive video featuring the well known Christmas carol “Little donkey”. The video shows the injuries, neglect and suffering inflicted on these hardworking animals and most importantly how Dr Yousef, head vet at the PWLS, works to treat these animals wounds and give them a better life.
To bring home the dire situation many of these donkeys face WSPA have put together a video showing the injuries, neglect and suffering inflicted on these working animals.
“The video shows the reality of life for donkeys in Bethlehem in this day and age,” said Alistair Findlay, Middle East Project Manager.
“Thankfully all of the donkeys, mules and horses featured in the video have been helped by Dr Yousef, head vet at PWLS and his team. The PWLS are an amazing group who do truly wonderful work but they rely completely on funding from WSPA. The video aims to raise funds to help donkeys and all animals that are suffering from pain and suffering, cruelty and neglect around the world.”

This Christmas WSPA is appealing to our supporters to help the donkeys of Bethlehem. Please watch our special Christmas video and make a donation that could make all the difference to these animals and many others around the world.
