Bear Sanctuary Raffle 2011 winners

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Bear Sanctuary Raffle. Your support has meant that the raffle has raised almost £300,000 to help protect animals from suffering and cruelty around the world.

Here is a list of the winners of the raffle. Don’t worry if you weren’t one of the lucky ones this time round, as WSPA’s Bear Cub Raffle will launch in August 2011.

Helping animals like Max

The response to our raffle is fantastic news for animals like Max, one of the bears who, after a life of pain and torment in cramped and squalid conditions, now lives in freedom and tranquillity at the sanctuary in Romania.

Thanks to WSPA supporters, Victor Watkins and the team are able to feed and care for Max and the rest of the bears at the sanctuary.
