Your chance to help bear cubs – and to win £10,000

Aug 19, 2011

Protecting bears from cruelty and captivity has always been a priority for WSPA and our supporters. By entering WSPA’s Bear Cub Raffle 2011, you could help protect the bear cubs of India from being snatched from their mothers and the wild to be sold into a life of captivity, forced to ‘dance’ for the entertainment of watching crowds.

Working with our local partner, the Wildlife Trust of India, WSPA is determined to end the cruel and illegal practice known as ‘bear dancing’ by stamping out the poaching of bear cubs from the wild that fuels it. And you can help.

WSPA’s Bear Cub Raffle will raise funds that could help protect bear cubs from the poachers and keep them in the freedom of the wild, where they belong. For the first time, you can now enter the raffle online at raffle.wspa.org.uk. Each online ‘ticket’ costs £1 and gives you the chance of winning up to £10,000 - as well as the knowledge that you are helping to protect animals from cruelty and suffering.

Alternatively you can call 0845 0777 500 to order raffle ticket books to be sent to you through the post.

Raffle closing date: 2 November 2011
Raffle draw date: 11 November 2011

To enter WSPA’s Bear Cub Raffle 2011 you must be over 16 and be a resident of England, Scotland or Wales. Good luck.
