Animal Protector wins influential award

The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) Animal Protector network exclusively for supporters who make a regular gift to WSPA has been recognised with an influential industry award.

On Monday 2 July, the Institute of Fundraising held its annual awards ceremony in London, where WSPA won the Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign award.

Rosie Chinchen, WSPA UK’s Director of Fundraising said: “I am delighted that WSPA has won the prestigious award of Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign for Animal Protector, our network for regular supporters of WSPA.”

The judging panel, made up of the best and brightest in the UK fundraising sector said that Animal Protector recognised that WSPA supporters would, if they could, be on the front line, rescuing animals.

The personalised website dedicated to those supporters who regularly give to the animal charity works to deliver the next best thing to personally rescuing animals, by bringing people closer to the animals they protect and projects they fund.
