WSPA UK wins Third Sector Excellence Award

WSPA’s Animal Protector network has been recognised with yet another influential industry award – this time winning a best fundraising award at the Third Sector Excellence Awards, held in London on 27 September. This follows the award for Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign at the Institute of Fundraising Awards earlier this year.
Animal Protector is WSPA’s network for supporters who protect animals around the world by making a regular, committed gift to WSPA.
Judge’s praise
WSPA’s Animal Protector stood up against tough competition from three major charities in the category.
Vicky Browning, chief executive of CharityComms and a judge of the category, said: "It's impressive to find a single, simple idea that will work so well globally.”

Animal Protector recognises the pivotal role that regular supporters play in helping us to protect animals around the world from cruelty and suffering. Over 70,000 people in the UK give on a regular and committed basis to WSPA, raising just over five million pounds last year.
