If you would like to take action, you can write to the governments of whaling nations. Let them know that you consider commercial whaling to be indefensible in the 21st century. Troubled Waters

This 2004 report looks at the welfare implications of the methods currently used to hunt whales, dolphins and porpoises. It assess the welfare implications and raises the question as to whether whaling could be conducted in a reliably humane manner.

The report calls on the International Whaling Commission (IWC) to urgently address the severe welfare problems that exist in modern whaling activities.
